Monty – Mid 20's-Early 40's,
The “face” of The Echo Room supper club.

The show is set in America in the 1930s and deals with Racial and Gender prejudices. Monty is a pivotal role as he presents songs written by an African-American woman as his own; an uneasy arrangement she agrees to in order to have her music published, heard and admired.
No AEA contracts are available for this production.
Auditions are Monday, December 4 starting at 7pm.

Please prepare 32 bars from two contrasting pieces.
Standards or classic Broadway.
Bring sheet music (NOT iPads) in the correct key.
An accompanist will be provided.
You may be asked to cold read a short scene.
Dance experience encouraged but not expected.
Rehearsals will begin January 8.
The show opens Friday February 9.
Runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday Mat, Saturday Nights through February 24, 2018.
