Film Audition Techniques

Actors treat auditions as necessary evils—painful experiences they are required to go through in order to do what they love. But what if you thought of it this way: An audition is the first creative step in the development of a role. Which you probably won't get to play. But leave that to the gods. If you audition well and bravely, you will be noticed and asked to audition even more. Thus you'll get very good at it. Thus you'll get cast more often. Because the odds will be in your favor.

John S. Davies can teach you to audition well, If you really want to learn. Unusually for an actor, he works both on-stage and on-camera. He has auditioned hundreds of times for films, television, theater, commercials, industrials, musicals, you name it. And he gets cast. Check him out on the Internet Movie Database: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0203788/ Or just google John S. Davies.
