    Voice Over I w/Bob Michaels
    Tuesdays
    October 30 - Nov 27
    6-8pm

Occurring continuously since 1992, Voice-Over Level One is arguably the most popular beginning level voice-over class in the South. It is also highly recommended by practically every agent in the area. VO-1 is the class to attend if you have ever imagined or considered voice-over possibilities for yourself, or for someone in your life with curiosity about VO. Bob Michaels, the instructor of this long running educational staple, is one of our area’s most prolific voice-over performers. The five week session was originally developed because of a lack of important information being given in some of the workshops he attended at the beginning of his career. You will gain insight into the subject in ways you didn’t imagine, as Bob discusses and details the “big three” areas of VO and *so* much more.

  • Staged Intimacy w/Ashley H. White
    11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
This workshop will cover three important parts of staged intimacy: Direction, Performance Best Practices, and Consent. We will discuss how to properly navigate potentially vulnerable and intimate moments onstage, reading and understanding cues for verbal and non-verbal consent, and understanding best practices for staging intimate scenes. We'll discuss the role and needs for when to hire an intimacy director and how to navigate staging intimate moments. This class will focus heavily on communication - as directors, as producers, as performers, and as teachers.

Note: This is not a course on how to become an Intimacy Director.

This class is taught in 3 sessions, Nov 10, 14 and 17th

Class fee $60 for members/$75 for non members
