40 hours, 10 days, 4 teachers, 2 weeks, 1 GREAT TIME!!

 

STAGE is pleased to once again offer a Youth Summer Writing, Acting & Musical Theatre Workshop. Every child who signs up will work with highly qualified instructors in the following areas: Writing, Singing, Movement and Acting. There will be a 30 minute snack/lunch break where the children and teachers may interact and begin the skill of networking, which is the key to success in the entertainment field. CJ Critt is a well-known audio book artist and published playwright. Erin McGrew, who is a professional in theatre and music, will instruct students in vocalizing and singing.  Arianna Movassagh, currently a theatre teacher in the Dallas area with years of professional theatrical experience, will teach students the art of movement and dance.  Special Guest, Brad McEntire will lead the group in Improv.  If shedules permit, Sharon Garrison will instruct students on the art of acting on camera.

 

Week one will focus on process and instruction. 

Week two will focus on rehearsal & performance skills.

 

 

Friday, July 28th, a short performance will be held at Contemporary Theatre of Dallas starting at 12:00pm.

 

Class size is limited to 14.
