This class is a MUST for anyone seeking to have a career in the broadcast, film and theatre industry. Jeanne Everton will teach you how to tell a good photo from a mediocre one, how to shop for a photographer, what to expect to pay, how to know if you need a makeup artist and how to find one. What to wear and what to expect in the studio, how to choose from the contact sheet and how to duplicate and distribute photos. Using a variety of samples, students learn to format and write their own resumes, how to make a beginner's resume look like a pro's, what to include, how to update it and how to distribute it. You will also learn everything there is to know about agents and unions, from what does an agent do for an actor, how do you find the right agent for your needs, who are the local and regional agents and a host of other specific issues regarding the actor's relationship with the talent agent. In short you will receive STRAIGHT ANSWERS to all your questions about the industry, from wardrobe to pay rates, casting directors to professional training and MORE!!
